Regular cleaning

Your home is not chaos. It is worse than that: it is almost clean. It is the limescale ring in the shower that you see every morning and never have time for. It is the kitchen fronts that have gone dull with fingermarks. It is the Sunday that disappears into the vacuum cleaner and the floor mop again, the one day you had meant to spend on something else.

Regular cleaning moves that hour from you to us, and it is given back to you in full.

What we actually do

Every visit follows the same order, and the order is not arbitrary. We work from top to bottom and from dry to wet, so that nothing has to be done twice.

The kitchen. Worktops, hob, fronts, handles, sink and taps. The film of grease on the cabinet fronts around the cooker is the one that builds up fastest and makes a kitchen look tired and dull — it is removed every time, not only when it is visible.

The bathroom. Basin, tap, mirror, shower, shower screens and toilet, with limescale removal. Limescale in Vestfold comes back, and the principle is to remove it before it sets: a shower screen cleaned every other week needs only a mild product, while one left for six months needs acid and patience.

The rooms. Dusting of open surfaces, shelves, skirting boards and electronics. Mirrors and glass without streaks. Handles, switches and door leaves — the surfaces many hands touch, and the ones most often skipped.

The floors last. Vacuuming everywhere, including under furniture that can be moved, then washing with the product suited to the floor type. Oiled oak and laminate do not tolerate the same treatment, and the wrong product over time is damage, not an accident.

Rubbish is emptied, new bin bags are put in, and beds are made by agreement.

Why it pays off

Regularity is cheaper than clearing up. That is the real argument. Limescale left for six months needs strong chemicals and a long dwell time; limescale removed every other week needs a cloth. Grease on a kitchen front left for a season has begun to bind to the finish; grease removed weekly comes off with lukewarm water. Every time we put off a surface, the job on that surface becomes more expensive next time — and harder on the material.

Then there is the figure you do not see on the invoice. Four hours a week on housework is over 200 hours a year. That is five working weeks.

And finally: the price falls for loyalty, not for negotiation. If you have had a completed job with us in the last 60 days, the rate is kr 550 per hour instead of kr 625. We check this ourselves when you book — you do not need to ask for it.

How often should you have it done?

Every other week for most households. Every week with children, pets or a home office. Every four weeks for one or two adults who are away a lot. The frequency you choose at booking does not affect the hourly rate — it simply tells us which arrangement to set up.

How long does it take?

For 70 m² we normally staff with 2 people for approx. 3,5 hours, and the estimate is kr 1 750 – kr 4 375 per visit. The first visit always takes the longest, because that is when the backlog is dealt with. After that the time drops, and with it the price.
