The arithmetic
Move-out cleaning is sold in Norway in three ways: a starting price with no ending ("from 3,800"), an hourly rate with no ceiling, or a range in a price database. All three leave you without knowing what you owe until the job is finished.
We use one formula. Square metres times 87 kroner, plus 30 per cent per floor beyond the first and 15 per cent per bathroom beyond the first. That formula is here, it is in the booking, and it is the same one the server calculates with.
The guarantee is built the same way. Everyone in the trade promises a satisfaction guarantee, but it measures against their own judgement. Ours measures against the landlord’s approval at handover — the burden of proof sits with us, not with you.

The area
Most handovers in town are set for the last or the first day of the month, and those calendar days fill up first with everyone who does this work. Book two weeks ahead and you get to choose a time rather than take what is left.
The type of home decides where the hours go. A centre flat by the canal has few square metres but often old window frames and a bathroom full of limescale. A terraced house at Eik has more floor and less detail work. The formula is the same; the method is not.
