Honest about travel
We want to be clear about this from the start: our base is Skiringssalgaten 6B in Tønsberg, and the first 5 kilometres are included in the price. Sandefjord lies outside that zone. That means a travel fee of kr 20 per kilometre is added to the service price.
The fee is calculated from the address you give us, and it appears as its own line in the booking — before you pay, not afterwards. No travel turns up on the invoice as a surprise, and we do not round up because the journey took longer than planned.
If several cars are to be treated at the same address — family, neighbours, or a business with several cars in the same car park — it is worth booking them together. We drive out there once either way.
The coast wears on paintwork
Cars in Sandefjord are often parked near the sea, and the combination of salt-laden air in summer and road salt in winter is hard on both paint and underbody. Fallout rust on edges and wheel arches starts early, and an automatic wash does not remove the iron particles sitting and working away in the clear coat.
That is why all of our exterior treatments begin with a pre-wash and gentle chemistry that lift the dirt before anything touches the paint. Once the paint has been corrected, a ceramic sealant lasts considerably longer than wax — and it makes the next washes easier.
Inside, we see the same pattern: sand in the carpets, damp in the seats and smells that settle in. Deep cleaning with extraction, and ozone treatment where needed, deals with what vacuuming alone never touches.
The catalogue prices are the base price for a small passenger car. An SUV adds +30 % and a van +40 %. The travel fee to Sandefjord comes on top — both are shown in the booking before you pay.

No. The service prices are exactly the same as in Tønsberg. The only difference is the travel fee, and that is a pure cost per kilometre — not a mark-up.
The calendar shows our genuinely available times, with at least two hours' notice. In practice we have slots within a few days, but polishing and coating take a full day and are worth booking a little earlier.
