The price, without a form

Nationally, ceramic coating costs 7,500 to 20,000. Ours stays at 8,999

The price range for ceramic coating in Norway is so wide that the number almost loses meaning: from around 7,500 to well over 20,000 kroner, depending on who you ask and what is included. What is rarely stated is what the preparation consists of.

With us, NOK 8,999 is a complete price for a small car, and the preparation is specified: a three-step polish, with the ceramic seal as the fourth step. A coating laid over uncorrected paint locks the defects in under a layer meant to last for years — which is why the polish is not an add-on, it is the job.

We also say what the coating does not do. It protects against UV, chemistry and wash marks and makes the car easier to keep clean. It is too thin to stop stone chips. This is chemical and optical protection, not physical armour, and you should know that before you pay rather than after the first run down the E18.

Coverage

One base, the E18 north and south

We are based at Skiringssalgaten 6B in Tønsberg, geographically in the middle of the county. The E18 makes the axis Holmestrand–Horten–Tønsberg–Sandefjord quick to serve, and Nøtterøy, Færder and Tjøme are reached over the bridges without a ferry.

This page is a way in, not a replacement for the town pages. If you know which town you live in, you will find a shorter route, local distances and the questions people there actually ask on your town page further down.

The first five kilometres from the base carry no travel fee. Outside the zone the rate is NOK 20 per kilometre, calculated from your address and stated in the quote before you confirm. We are open every day between 09:00 and 20:00.

Questions and answers

What people in Vestfold ask

What does ceramic coating cost in Vestfold?

NOK 8,999 for a small car. The preparation — a three-step polish — is included. SUV +30 per cent, van +40 per cent. The price is fixed and stated before you book — we do not charge by time spent.

Is ceramic coating worth it?

The coating protects against UV, chemistry and wash marks, and makes the car easier to keep clean. It is too thin to stop stone chips — this is chemical and optical protection, not physical armour. If you want to try a simpler version first, a quick ceramic spray sealant is available at NOK 1,999.

Which places in Vestfold do you come to?

Tønsberg, Nøtterøy, Færder and Tjøme, Sandefjord with Stokke and Vear, Horten with Åsgårdstrand, and Holmestrand with Sande. Five kilometres free from the base at Skiringssalgaten 6B in Tønsberg, then NOK 20 per kilometre. The travel fee is in the quote before you confirm.

What does polishing cost?

1-step NOK 2,399, 2-step NOK 3,699 and 3-step NOK 6,499 — base price for a small car. SUV +30 per cent, van +40 per cent. The 3-step takes most scratches and wash marks, and the gloss comes close to new.

How often should the car be polished?

Polishing removes paint defects, and it is the condition of the paint that decides — not the calendar. If the paint is in good shape, a 1-step at NOK 2,399 is enough to lift the gloss. To keep the result longer, ceramic coating at NOK 8,999 seals the work.

What do you add for SUVs and vans?

SUV 30 per cent and van 40 per cent on the base price. The supplement is a stated figure and is calculated into the price you see before you book, rather than sitting inside a size category with no number attached.
