Which step does your paint need?
Steps are the number of passes over the paint, not a quality ladder where the most expensive is always right. A young car with light swirls does not come out prettier from three steps than from one — it just stands still for twelve hours instead of five.
Look at the paint in hard side light, ideally with a torch in the dark. Fine circles and a grey haze are wash swirls. If you can see individual scratches clearly but cannot feel them with a fingernail, they are still in the clear coat and can be polished out.

How we work
How polishing works at your door
We come to the address you give us, with our own water, our own power and the whole kit on board. You do not have to provide anything, and the car does not have to move.
The order is the same every time, because it has to be: a polishing machine on dirty paint grinds the dirt into the paint instead of taking it off.
Wash and degrease
Foam pre-wash, a two-bucket hand wash, wheels and arches, then degreasing. Nothing is wiped with anything that was just on the ground.
Decontamination
Clay pulls out iron fallout, tar and everything else embedded in the paint. Run a hand over it afterwards and it is glass-smooth — the condition for the machine to work evenly.
