The guarantee
What happens if the clean is not approved?
The approved move-out guarantee — if the landlord does not approve the clean, we come back free of charge. Tell us within 72 hours of the hand-over and we agree a new time.
On Nøtterøy that guarantee is cheaper for us to keep than almost anywhere else, and it is worth saying out loud: Teie is three kilometres from our base. A firm that has to drive an hour each way to fix two points has a different threshold for promising the same thing.

The work
How do we clean a house over two floors?
A house does not just take longer than a flat. It takes a different order, because dust and water travel downwards and a finished floor should not be cleaned twice.
We bring several people so the home is finished in one day. Eco-labelled products are used wherever good ones exist.
The top floor first
Bedrooms and loft storage: ceilings, skirting, door leaves, frames, switches and sockets, cupboards inside and on top, and windows with frames. The stairs are done on the way down, not up.
The bathrooms, one at a time
Full limescale removal on shower screens, taps, basin and tiles. Grout goes through, the drain is opened and cleaned, and vents come down and go back.
The kitchen
Inside, on top of and under every cupboard and drawer, including the empty ones. Extractor with the filter out, hob and oven with shelves, trays and door glass, and behind appliances that can be pulled out.
Floors and the final check
Floors last throughout the house, storeroom, hall and utility room included. Then we walk both levels ourselves, hand-over list in hand, before we lock up.
What we need from you
The house should be empty of furniture and belongings, and the power and water should be on. If things are left in a storeroom or a cupboard we cannot reach behind them, and those points stay on the landlord list. If the home is still furnished, it does not change the square-metre price.

What does the drive to Teie, Duken and Husøy cost?
Teie is around three kilometres from Skiringsalgaten 6 B in Tønsberg, inside the five free kilometres, so the travel fee there is zero. Borgheim, Duken, Bergan and Hårkollen lie further south, where NOK 20 per kilometre is calculated from the address you enter.
Husøy is connected by the Husøy bridge. That is worth stating plainly, because a place name ending in "øy" makes many people assume a ferry and a surcharge for it. There is no separate Husøy price with us — we drive straight over.
The housing to the south is villas and detached houses with carports, gardens and often a cellar. That is the type that produces the largest move-out cleans in our area, and the one that gains most from the floor and bathroom supplements being numbers rather than judgement.
